About the author
Kitty is a bestselling novelist and writer, award winning artist and former newspaper columnist. She is Swedish born, grew up in Spain then emigrated to Canada at age 18. She lived in British Columbia for 14 years, two of those in a remote Yukon border town on the Alaska Highway. Her passion for the indigenous art grew alongside her own development as a stone and wood carver. Later these traditions also found their way into her novels, such as ICE TRAP, set in the Canadian sub-arctic, and which sold nearly one million copies in 15 languages.
