We will visit those sites that were important in the life of the famous poet, musician, director, playwright, actor Federico Garcia Lorca, sites in the center of Granada and just outside the city, where he was born in Fuentevaqueros, where he was executed in 1936 for this socialist ideas, the theatre where he recited his poetry, the house of his friend Manual de Falla where they played the piano and organized a Flamenco competition in 1922 and we will have a guided ´Lorquian´walk through the center of Granada ending in the Plaza de Mariana Pineda which is dedicated to Mariana Pineda who was executed just like Lorca and for the Same reasons but 100 years earlier. He wrote a play called Mariana Pineda and here on the Plaza read out poetry when her sculpture was unveiled. As Lorca loved going to the gypsies in the caves on the hill Sacromonte to enjoy a flamenco performance, we will do so too and we will also dine in the caves.

Day 1:
- Visit Casa Natal Lorca, the house where Lorca was born in Fuentevaqueros
- Visit to Barranco Viznar where Lorca was executed in August 1936 and probably buried in a mass grave though his body was never found.
- Check in hotel Turia and free time for lunch
- In the evening a visit to Sacromonte, dinner and flamenco show in the caves of Sacromonte.

Day 2
- Visit to Casa de Manuel de Falla
- Coffee in Hotel Palacio Alhambra and visit to the theatre there where Lorca recited his poetry
- Guided walking tour for 2 and half hours through the center of Granada visiting sites that were important in the life of Lorca.
- Lunch
- After lunch we go back to Nerja, arrival about 18.00
