In April 39 of us went to Sicily for a 7 day trip starting in Catania and ending in Palermo, visiting 7 World Heritage Sites: the volcano Etna, the Greek theatre of Syracuse, the Baroque city of Noto, another charming Baroque town Modica where we also had a chocolate tasting, the famous Roman mosaic floors in Piazza Armerica, the Valley of the tempels with 3 Greek tempels, the Capella Palatina in Palermo, and the Byzantine and Norman churches in Monreale.
