The spectacular landscape of the Alpujarra is famous for its richness in homemade products like wine and food, sweets, chocolates, nougat and cheese, crafts like ceramics, textiles (clothes, rugs and wall hangings), leather, esparto weaving and many other most beautiful and imaginative products. We will hear Islamic poetry and have brief talks on the Heritage of the Alpujarras. Rafa Anderson (local architect and one of our favourite lecturers) will be our guide for the day.
