Paula Coronas organized a concert for the Winners of our Music Competition for young talent which was held in October 2023. It was in a very special venue: in the patio of the Ateneo in Malaga which is where Picasso’s father used to teach art. Eight young talents participated and shone on this stage.
It was again a full house! Paula Coronas told us that for our next Competition which will be held in March 2025 we will have, apart from The Arts Society Nerja´s prizes and the Paula Corona Prize for best interpretation of a Spanish composer, also the Joaquin Rodrigo Prize, donated by the daughter of Joaquin Rodrigo. He was one of the best Spanish composers. He composed the famous Concierto de Aranjuez. It is getting to be a contest of importance!
